One year I decided to step up my gravy recipe we had guests
and I thought this might be really good...it was and now I
make it this way every year-my family loves it! It takes a
little more effort but the flavor makes it so worth it:)

Turkey
Gravy Recipe
Ingredients:
Turkey juice
2 packets
Turkey Seasoning
4 Tablespoons of Butter
Onion-Med-chopped
Garlic-2
cloves-minced
Celery-3
stalks-chopped
Rosemary-2
sprigs- chopped
Italian
Parsley-small handful chopped
Mushrooms small
container-sliced
¼ cup of white
wine
1 cup Milk
1/2 Cup Flour
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Directions:
Put a couple
tabs of butter in a pan with an Onion, Garlic cloves and Celery stalks. Sautee
until translucent on med-low heat. Add Rosemary and Italian Parsley. Sautee a
couple more minutes set aside to cool.
In another pan
do Mushrooms small container with butter and 1/4 white wine until light brown.
Puree mushrooms
and veggie mixture together set in fridge until ready to make gravy.
In a large
sauce pan add juices from Turkey, 2 packets of turkey seasoning and pureed veggies.
Mix. Once combined-bring to a boil add 1 cup of milk with 1/2 cup of flour
whisked until lumps are out-stir continuously once thickened reduce heat to
low. S&P to taste. Enjoy!
You will have
plenty of gravy for leftover recipes which I will share my family’s favorite in
a couple of days.
