Healthy Strawberry Smoothie Recipe with some crunch



I made this and it was really good.
I would suggest changing the 1 cup of yogurt to a 1/2 cup and add 1/2 cup silk vanilla almond
milk and using frozen strawberries-I will make on a regular basis-it was that good:)

I saw this recipe and had to try it-it is nice to switch things up and have a variety of smoothie recipes to choose from.

Hearty Fruit and Oat Smoothie

Ingredients

    • 1 cup quartered strawberries
    • 1 sliced banana
    • 1/4 cup raw almonds
    • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
    • 1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
    • 1 teaspoon maple syrup

Directions

  1. Toss into blender.

Nutty Idea
Top with 1/4 cup chopped nuts, such as almonds or walnuts, for a more filling meal.
