Perfect for breakfast for guests this Holiday season-Apple Streussel Muffin recipe


Guest worthy Recipe...so delicious.
Makes your house smell really good too.  When your family and guests wake up in the morning they will come down and with a smile and say what are you cooking? It smells so good. You can present them with these yummy goodies.

Apple Streusel Muffins
Topping:
½ cup chopped Walnuts
¼ cup Flour
3 TBSP. Sugar
2 TBSP. Butter-room temperature
¼ tsp. Cinnamon
¼ tsp. Nutmeg
Batter:
1 ½ Cups All Purpose Flour
½ cup Sugar
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Cinnamon
¼ tsp. Allspice
¼ tsp. Baking Soda
¼ tsp. Salt
2 Lg. Eggs
1 cup Sour Cream
¼ cup Butter melted (1/2 stick)
1 cup Green apples Diced (unpeeled)
Directions:
Preheat oven 375 degrees.
Grease muffin pans.
In a small bowl combine all ingredients for topping with a pastry blender until crumbly-set aside.
In a medium bowl put all dry ingredients stir set aside.
In a large bowl combine all wet ingredients. Whisk together. Add apples stir. Add dry ingredients fold until moist.
Scoop into muffin tins. Top about 2 tsp. of topping per muffin.
Bake 20 muffins or until tooth pick comes out clean.
Cool ½ hour to an hour.
